For World AIDS Day on Dec. 1, St. Paul’s, Brighton offered an intimate service in its chapel. Not only were those who lost their lives to HIV/AIDS remembered, but a call to be supportive with more than words was issued. The Rev. Deon Johnson, rector of St. Paul’s, Brighton, explained his church’s service and involvement.
Guests to the service were invited to help create squares for an AIDS quilt. Various members of the congregation took part in the service.
